The LEGACY CAT 1450 OB DSV hull design initially came into service as an inboard powered Dive Support platform.
The design allows for the vessel to be transported by road and more importantly accepted as trailorable cargo for standard RORO ships.
The elevated and spacious command station located on the upper deck, gives excellent all round vision for manoeuvring in confined spaces or holding positioning during surveys.
It provides a large, sheltered and versatile aft deck area which can be utilized for a multitude of dive support and workboat functions.
The main saloon is air-conditioned and the crew quarters includes a galley, shower and toilet facilities as well as a fully functional Galley, bunks to serve 2 crew and 6 seating for 6 divers.
The main cabin also houses the Dive control centre including the communications and video equipment selected.
The Dive spread and umbilical’s are located on the 18 square meter aft working deck.
Depending on client’s specifications, a combination of either electronic or hydraulic lifting capabilities are added.
Twin Mercury 250 Hp Verado outboard motors and 3000 litre fuel capacity provides a cruising speed of 18 knots at an economical range of 200 nm at her delivered fit-out weight, dependant on sea conditions.
The 1450 Outboard Powered DSV, whilst primarily a inland waters or inshore - outboard propelled - dive support platform, provides the following amenities for its crew.
